Jeff Swearingen, Co-Founder & CEO
Jeff’s career includes more than 15 years of emerging technology experience. A graduate of the University of Texas, Jeff had 7 years of extraordinary sales success in the Financial Systems Division of NCR and at Davox (now Aspect, Inc.), a provider of computer telephony integration solutions. In 1997, Jeff founded TheGift.com, which grew from a garage start-up to a leader in the emerging on-line gift category. Recognized by PC Magazine as the best flower and gift site in the world, TheGift.com was acquired by 1-800-FLOWERS (NASD: FLWS) in November of 1999. Prior to founding Enexity in late 2002, Jeff served as the Vice President of Business Development for SteelTorch Software.

Scott Smith, Co-Founder & CTO
Scott has 20 years of professional software development experience and is a recognized expert in communications, databases, open source software and real-time processing. Scott spent 16 years at Davox Corporation, where he designed and led development efforts of the Unison application, creating revenues in excess of $600,000,000 worldwide. From 2000-2002, Scott served as CTO at SteelTorch Software. Scott holds 15 US patents.

Joe Devine, VP Operations
Joe has almost twenty years software development, management and IT operations experience in both enterprise and internet application development environments. Joe spent ten years with Texas Instruments managing multinational teams developing enterprise and internet applications before leaving to take on IT management for TheGift.com. His role at TheGift.com was followed by several CTO positions in retail e-commerce, including that of Safeway.com, Motosport.com and eBags.com. While at eBags, Joe also held the VP of Marketing title in addition to his duties managing all software development and IT operations.

Joe earned a B.A. in Computer Science, Mathematics and Psychology from Austin College, in Sherman Texas, graduating with honors in Computer Science.

Harvey Ring, Enexity Board Member
Mr. Ring is the President of Ring Investments, LP, an investment and consulting company specializing in the technology industry. His expertise in sales, marketing and business process development has contributed to the growth of early stage companies in Austin, including FactoryLogic Software, Inside Out Networks, Eureka Environmental, Precision Traffic Systems and others. He is currently working with Enexity, Facilities Technology Group, Advantage Mortgage Network, Pinion Software, Sozotek, The Austin Student and VoxPath Networks in Austin, TX. He serves on the Board of several of the Austin companies and Ensure Technologies and Instant Service outside of Texas.

Mr. Ring is a partner in National Investment Market, a company created to help early stage companies become profitable. Prior to building his own businesses, Mr. Ring served as the Vice President of Dellware for Dell Computer Corporation. He has over 35 years of experience in the technology industry and has held executive positions in companies such as MicroWarehouse, Microcom, British Telecom, ITT and ADP. He has also managed two VC backed startup companies as CEO. Mr. Ring is Vice Chair on the Board of the Austin Technology Council.

Mr. Ring holds an M.B.A. in Marketing and Finance from the University of Michigan. In addition, he has earned a Ph.D. in High Energy Physics, an M.S. in Physics and a B.S.E. in Physics from the University of Michigan. Mr. Ring and his wife Nancy have been in the Austin area since 1993 and their 3 children, Jessica, Joseph and Alisha are all pursuing careers in the Austin area.

Steve Wagh, Enexity Board Member
With over 30 years of success in the high-tech industry, Steve Wagh now offers his leadership and advice to many startup companies in the Central Texas area. Most recently, Steve was Chairman of the Board for 5 startups: 212 Studios, Wavefly Corp, Viewics, Coral Technology, and Professional Concierge. Steve worked at IBM for 14 years in software development, microcomputer sales, PC marketing strategy and product planning. In 1984, he co-founded Brown-Wagh Publishing which marketed over 100 PC products through retail outlets and OEM channels worldwide. Some major hits included PrintMaster™, which became a perennial leader in the low-end desktop publishing market, and Sound Blaster™, which became the major breakout product for multimedia applications. Profitable each month for 96 consecutive months, Brown-Wagh Publishing was able to earn annual revenues exceeding $80 million with only 16 employees. Most recently, Steve authored his book entitled, “The CEO Handbook” --- a pocket guide for startup CEOs.

Steve earned a B.S. degree in Math at C.C.N.Y. and an M.BA. from Nova Southeastern University.
